If you go in for big singles ages before the event at stand out prices then you'll get shut down pretty snappy, if you don't then you have a chance at a run.
So really, it should be a massive print spot for you to do that because EV of having an account open is miles bigger than EV of a single bet, learning to turn the spots down is as important as learning how to spot them in the first place, IMO.
Also drop some EV to take some worse positions once in a while...won't kill you

I just don't know how you big boys actually survive then.
Say, 15 (abso max) decent quality bookies that will take a proper bet. You get shut after, say 5 decent punts. You then need a massive bank of helpful/trusting/trustworthy friends to survive long term surely?
Then all you are left with is the exchanges.
I know, I should just keep quiet, but I love being reminded what a tragically shit punter I am by Arb.....
Edit. Nice to see a respected member of the forum feels the same
....Cheers Dave

It's massively possible to stay open much longer than that, take a little extra variance, use a bit of common sense etc

Just some fella trying to get some profile, or probably a job, in racing by pushing his views on Twitter etc. Not my cup of tea, but fair play to him.
Think he either won or got through to final of the RUK TipStars comp too.
Has he upset you?

No not at all. As i say beyond seeing the name i have no idea who he is. If he is worth following or funny or interesting then i'd like to know.

Tipping Rhododendrun at 5/2 when it is best 11/8?

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

I saw one of his videos pop up after the Haye v Bellew fight, when he had done his bollocks lumping Haye.
Some of them are quite funny, but I was under the impression if was more a parody, than a serious thing.

No idea what he's tipping. That's just his little catchphrase, when people dig him out
He was in the Padraig video during cheltenham, where the jockeys were all reading 'mean tweets' out.
I'll find it when I get to my desk. Made me chuckle.
