Good news for our local observers, as Walsall regular and Luigi (from Mario Bros) lookalike, Essy Jahanpour, has risen above his starting stack for the first time in the whole tournament (yep, pretty remarkable) and is now on an insurmountable 13k!!!

Raising pre-flop, Ash Hussain called from the button before encountering a raising war on the Flop.

"I've just lost a 20k pot," moans Flushy.

Flushy raised under the gun with Queens, Shaf called two seats down and both players checked the Flop.

Flushy check-called 2.5k on the Turn, and then (I think) another bet on the River, only to find that he'd lost to the perhaps suprising holding of .

Guess that's what you can do when you have as many chips of Shaf, but Flushy wasn't happy and not particularly complimentary in that unmistakable Flushy way. Bless his cotton socks.

And in the last hand of the day, Ali Woods is eliminated (very short; forced to move with J-2, taken out by Q-4) which brings the total number of players progressing to Day Two from Day 1B to 61.

And Praz apparently made a largeish bluff with the rest of his chips, and got a brave call with second pair which removed him from the tournament.

That's about it; they're racing off the orange 25 chips, and then there'll be a redraw... we'll get the full list of counts whenever they appear.

It's the same as yesterday (for anyone whose count curiosity may be encouraging them to keep viewing this thread) - it'll be about 90 mins until we get them up, and play restarts at 4pm tomorrow.

We'll be here....
