Did anyone guess it yet?

Is the dealer one of the players in the hand?

Self deal tournament in a cricket club.

Player A limps, player B raises, super short stacked player C calls all-in, player A calls the raise.

Dealer inexplicably reaches over and tables player A's hand thinking we are at showdown.

What happens next?

Dexter has been sooooo good. Really frustrated by them showing the bloody next episode trailer. I don't want to know, let cliffhangers be cliffhangers etc!

I am a huge dexter fan but I feel total ambivalence to this season so far.

It's always been pretty daft but the last few episodes have been very daft.  The introduction of this crazy eyed psychologist who claims to have invented dexter is just too much for me.

I'm afraid I've given up.

Just tell us so everyone can say "never heard of it" and we can move on please.

This isn't having a go at anyone in particular, it is in the list because I'm genuinely curious.

19. In the "Diaries and Blogs" board on here, there are about 10 blogs started by people with <10 posts, who write one long intro and then never post again.

Why would they start a diary on a website where they don't know anyone?

Having gone through the rigmarole of joining and writing a long first post, why do they just abandon the thread before anyone gets to to know them?

It's baffling to me.

The idea of expressing yourself to people you know can be quite daunting so I can understand the logic in doing so to strangers.

Also, they may be lurkers who feel as though they do know the members through reading their posts everyday (like I do).

It's possible that they abandon it because the idea was better than the reality.  Too much like hard work.

Just read through this diary and I am enjoying it.

What I am not enjoying is the last 4 pages of constant, inane back and forth about one comment.

The comment was mildly derogatory.  No more, no less.  The vultures swooping and pecking at our hero was unwarranted and over the top.

I stop reading diaries if they get boring, if I feel the author is merely venting their frustration, or if I get seriously offended by something written.

This diary is not boring, it is well balanced and anyone getting offended by mentions of not cashing in bowl comps really must get some perspective in their life.

Keep up the good work.

If anyone follows Sam Grafton on twitter he has retweeted a lot of very interesting articles on this subject.  Well worth a read.

Something happened at DTD on Saturday night that made me so angry / upset that I had to take a walk outside. In fact, I almost went home.

I may decide to write about it when I've calmed down enough to make an objective post using reasonable language, or I might just let it go. I can't decide which.

Grievances are like open wounds. Sometimes they need to be cleaned and dressed to prevent them from festering, and sometimes they heal better if you leave them alone.

I'll talk to Tony about it. When it comes to open wounds, be they metaphorical or otherwise, he's my triage nurse.

I'd say its time for a RED-DOG story.  This one fits the bill nicely in my opinion.

Excellent diary. Thoroughly enjoying it.

11/13 with a good few lucky guesses.
43  Community Forums / Betting Tips and Sport Discussion / Re: Tips by Tighty on: April 18, 2013, 06:34:18 PM
Jamie I am going in again

£20 Warburton 4-1 Ladbrokes

Markets now have, roughly

O'Driscoll 13/8
O'Connell 13/8
Warburton 4-1

On betfair Warburton is just under 3-1, though its a strange old illiquid market

As above I don't think Gatland picks BOD as captain, I still think Warburton is his man

Now have a max bet Warburton £30 at 11-4, £20 at 4-1

14 days til Squad announcement

He's now 4/7 with ladbrokes. Well done with this value spotting.

I was in 49th position with around 6-7BB I think the random hand dealer set me up to fall as they wanted people out. The all in had QQ I called and went out as didn't hit

Sounds like RNG collusion.

Finished at about the same time tonight.

Just open-folded AA, which was a bit weird - but it was the absolute bubble and no need to play anything.

You get a seat Rich?

Sounds like collusion...
