Hit the gym tonight, 30 minute spin then 20 minute core! Mrs is hinting for phoning dominos but I have reminded her she was looking at beach holidays last night!! First gym since Saturday AM. Need to pressure myself to go before my nightly poker begins. I do exercise in scheduled breaks when I'm playing as it keeps me feeling fresh at 1am and beyond!

Hope to sneak another loss this week. Got 4 weeks till a wedding and really want to wear a suit I own as opposed to buying another 38 inch waist bad boy.

03/01/2015 - 15st 9 3/4
10/01/2015 - 14st 13 1/4
17/01/2015 - 14st 9 1/2
24/01/2015 - 14st 8 3/4

Small loss which isn't too bad as had a big meal Saturday with friends and struggled to get to gym due to work commitments.

Spin class now. In Belfast from Thursday to Saturday next week so won't be a weigh in. Will need to work hard the following week!

Week 1  4/01/2015   17 stone 3 lb
Week 2  11/01/2015   17 stone 0 lb  3lb loss
Week 3  18/01/2015   16 stone 10lb 4lb loss
Week 4  25/01/2015   16 stone 12 lb 2 lb gain

Im personally not reading too much into this gain I've had a pretty good week all week and last night we met some friends for a meal (Toby carvery) and I eat quite a lot and had a pudding and 3 pints of carling.

I don't regret one little bit as as much as I want to lose weight I need to be able to have a life also.

As long as I lose this coming week its all good .

Been doing the 5:2 diet with a little bit of success, I've lost around 5kgs since starting around 3.5 weeks ago.

Currently 107.5kg
Target 90kg

leg day today, ruined.  weigh in was good - 106kg

onward & upward.

Down to 104kg, not been training at all after moving house but haven't been eating like a pig either.

Time to regroup.

12th Jan 2015 17st 9lbs
19th Jan 2015 17st 7lbs
26th Jan 2015 17st 4lbs

Starting to show a bit more discipline in my eating habits, basically by disciplining myself when going shopping. Running is still going well, set a parkrun pb again on Saturday and managed my longest run at a decent pace (for me) as well.

Happy with the loss especially as Saturday night turned into a reasonably big one and ending up having quite a bit to drink.

It's probably cheating but I am going to weigh in Sunday this week instead of next Monday.
Of course it is the superbowl and having a few friends round, so will be a night of carb indulgence.

No point doing this if you cannot have a night off once a month...lol

Welcome back girgy .....and 26lb in three weeks is awesome keep it up.

Cheers

Over Xmas i won a 'biggest loser style' competition package where a local gym were offering 5 places which included 3 months of free gym, nutritional advice along with a dedicated personal trainer. over 140 people applied and i made a short list of 16 where 8 people on Saturday and 8 on Sunday attended an induction where they interviewed us and put us through  some fitness tests etc. They ended up making it 8 packages and i was fortunate to 'win' one. We get a monthly 'sat' test along with weekly weigh ins. The first week i lost 5lbs second week i lost 6lbs then this week 15lbs as i changed my diet to Atkins which suits my eating habits. Our final weigh in is 29th March where he wants me to have lost 6st. Training includes TRX, bodyfit with lots of core exercises. i mix in my own bit of jogging here and there but have a calf injury atm so taking it easy as ive just had physio today.
